Karen Tsugawa is a Japanese-Chinese artist and graphic designer born in Sacramento. She currently combines her design background with her love for tactile artmaking, cultural history, and community-based projects. Her current public projects showcase personal and historical ties to the Japanese-American communities in various cities within California.
